Marlin introduced the model 375 lever action carbine in 1980 as a clone of their model 336 in a fresh caliber known as the 375 Big Bore. This carbine was manufactured with a 20" barrel, 2/3 length magazine tube, open sights and walnut stocks. The model 375 was manufactured for a total of 4 years with 16,315 firearms produced. In 1983, this carbine was discontinued.
